Last Order is a rhythm game where mixing drinks is a performance — hit the beat, follow the steps, keep your customers alive. Miss the rhythm and your hand slips: the poison bottle comes out instead. Miss three times on the same drink, and that's it. Order's up. Permanently.

Michael J. Phillips, 36 years old, is an ex-amateur assassin who recently messed up a hit by poisoning the wrong person after mixing up two drinks. he decided to lay low. He moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he found a job as a bartender under the fake name Baar Kieper. However, fearing that someone might be tracking him down has left Michael extremely anxious. The only thing that helps him stay calm is music. Whenever he's working, he blasts music to keep himself from getting worked up, or doing something stupid... like mixing poison into drinks.
